Tuesday in Holy Week

I often have wondered why it was that Our Father should have chosen the time that he did to enlighten the Chosen People by begetting the Incarnate Son, his reset of his relationship with mankind, the pinnacle of creation in this world.

I believe that it is true that every individual in every generation of mankind has been given the freedom to choose for ourselves either to listen to and take heed of the unseen voice that tells each one of us in the depths of our being that we are loved and need to return that love by following the revelation of how to follow the way to holiness that is WORD taught by Jesus and revealed in the Bible.

During the centuries in which the Old Testament was recorded, IAMIAM was always ready to support the children of Abraham  because constancy is part of  the nature of IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT. They did not come close fulfilling :‘I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.’

There are numerous occasions, however, in the time of the New Testament when Jesus is filled  with compassion for the plight of the people who are helpless and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd and it is from these moments that we can begin to have some inkling that Our Father has been somehow hurt by our response to his love, even though many of the learned and the clever have decided to teach that God is impassable, beyond all human emotion.

In the passage from the passion narrative of St John we are given some insights into the mental state of Jesus only hours before the Crucifixion. He has both the prescience of God and the growing terror of a man condemned to a terrible death. 

All sinners such as I can easily condemn the treachery of Judas but we know in our hearts that we are making him the scapegoat for our own sins for it is the sins of each of us that still create the opening for evil to come into this world and by its power still attract us from doing the will of Our Father that is the only reason for our being.

Dear Father who art in heaven help me to open my heart to the forgiveness you won for us on Calvary and help me to remain in the Church of Love that you created as the New Holy Family in your dying words from the cross and share this insight of salvation with my loved ones and with the whole world. Amen

In today's first reading, three thousand years ago, inspired by God, the prophet Isaiah proclaims the Glory that Our Father reveals to us when we cooperate with his holiness by opening our spiritual eyes to his self-revelation made through patriarchs and prophets.

Even though the Psalmist can sing, 

The Lord is my light and my salvation;

whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life; whom should I dread? 

over the next thousand years, the then living people of God were not able to be consistent in their acceptance of the covenant that they and their forefathers had received through the prophets and they often ignored the will of God.

When we reflect on the state of humanity today we have to remember that the Jews of the Old Testament had failed to  answer the "call to righteousness". This is not my human judgement but the reality of the Divine reset of the loving relationship that IAMFTHERSONHOLYSPIRIT constantly reveals throughout the Old and New Testaments and specifically began when 

"the angel of the Lord appeared unto Mary and she conceived by the Holy Ghost".

I don't see how today we are any better than "those days" for we still are the same mixture of proud sinners, hypocrites, lukewarm and sincere believers  met by Jesus 2000 years ago.

The Incarnation is not a reward for mankind but is the final intervention by Almighty God to enable those of us who  listen to the WORD to co-operate in doing his will during our temporal lifetimes.

The Church was founded to preserve the "body and blood" as  Sacrament, a new form of being. She still exists but for too long was a part of this world and thus contradicted Jesus declaration before Pilate.

"My kingdom is not of this world".

I do know that I may be mistaken, but I do know that "The Temple" is no more and Church has never been consistently true to the words of its founder. I am also sure, however,  that I can still have the Faith that is beyond all understanding in the words to Mary and John uttered on Calvary as God died to bring into creation the grace that is merciful redemption and certainty of happiness, the Church of Love, the New Holy Family.

Palm Sunday

It is right and fitting that in her liturgy the Church points to WORD that is to be found throughout Scripture. 

Today we are able to ponder the renewal and finalization that occurred in historical real-time of the promises of IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT to guide us through our lifetimes in this world as preparation to "see him as he really is".

The preliminary reading from Matthew sets the scene as we too become witnesses to the fervour and messianic hope that Jesus of Nazareth had inspired wherever he had preached throughout the Holy Land.

Seven/eight hundred years prior to the event that we joined in the first reading, Isaiah did not resist WORD but opened himself, listened, accepted and then joyfully proclaimed what would come to pass in Jerusalem.

On Friday "My God, my God why have you forsaken me" will be prayed from the cross by the dying sinless Son but sinners know that it is we who abandon Our FATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT and are in no way deserving of the Mercy created in bitter pain on Calvary outside the city walls.

Scholars inform us that St Paul is quoting a pre-existing hymn in the perfection that he too proclaims with joy in his heart. We know that this single-minded hard-core Pharisee had been captured by the direct intervention of the Resurrection and was thereafter inspired to formulate Resurrection Faith into an intellectually comprehensible form that itself has become part of the Scriptures.

During the early years of the Church there were many living eye-witnesses who had experienced the events celebrated during Holy Week. We cannot say that any of the Evangelists have the physical realism that man's technical advancement has made possible, but the undoubtable TRUTH is that which comes from God and is infallibly found only in Scripture.

Although Gospel details may vary and scoffers deride our Faith we all have to bend our knee at the name of Jesus and thank Our Father through the Holy Spirit for the revelation which we hope to share with the whole world as we open our whole beings to welcome the merciful grace that became a physical reality in the body and blood sacrificed for us 2000 years ago in Jerusalem. Amen.

Friday Lent Week 5

In Tuesday's Gospel Jesus was confronted by men who had devoted their whole lives to doing the will of God that was revealed to them in the, at that time, incomplete Bible, the texts that recalled the experiences and words of the Patriarchs and Prophets. They were not "evil" but, although confident and sincere in their own belief, they were intrigued by the "something greater" that was the charisma that had attracted many of their contemporaries to follow Jesus.

Similarly today Jesus has to face up to sincere believers who have become so frustrated by the obvious dichotomy between the reality of his person, words and deeds and their unwillingness to accept that they were in truly in the presence of the "something greater" that was always "here" with Jesus. 

On Tuesday their frustration was so great that it seethed into anger and they picked up rocks to hurl at the "Blasphemer". Today they want to arrest him.

For more than three thousand years the people of God have been guided as to how to do God's will on earth; to cooperate with Our Father and live righteously. Our Bible, however, is filled with violence and although we are told "thou shalt not kill" there have always been thousands of us who have accepted the concept of a "Just War" and point to God's support of Israel and Judea in their Old Testament wars.

There is nothing at all about the motives of all the combatants in any of the Middle-East Wars of my lifetime, that are continuing even as I type this, that could be considered to be just. The originating act of partition by the representatives of Britain and France was the morally unjustifiable arrogance of the victors who emerged from the Great War, which itself was one of the long line of failures to  learn from the great reset of revelation that was concluded on Calvary.

Jesus died for our sins to enable us to do on earth the will of Our Father in Heaven. During his trial he declared "My kingdom is not of this world". We have never even tried to implement this and have actually often defied him by claiming that our killing of enemies was done in his name.

Can God really want us to avoid protecting our loved ones? Jesus accepted death on the cross that we might be loosed of our sins. His death is perfect Love. 

"There is no greater love than that a man die for the sake of his friends". 

It is not an easy task to think these thoughts and write them down but it is certainly much harder to be faced with a deadly attack. I have always been protected from that terrifying experience and can only thank God for never having been truly tested by anything remotely resembling combat.

Dear Lord, help me to grow in Faith and to do your will by avoiding my personal sins and placing all my trust in being able to participate in your Church of Love, the New Holy Family you created and bequeathed to all mankind as you hung, dying on the cross.

I have never been aware of hearing the voice of the Lord but everything that supports what is virtuous in my life is revealed WORD interpreted  in the human words which make up Scripture.

I do not understand the word play in Hebrew that is signified by the change of "Abram" into "Abraham". I have read or heard read this passage of Scripture thousands of times during my lifetime and before today in my 86th year I don't think that I have ever even looked for an explanation.

In the Gospel in its translated into English version that I read today, however, the Jews who were listening to every word that came from the lips of God heard "never taste death" and were shocked to the centre of their beings for they knew that death was as sure as the taxes they paid to Caesar.

Jesus is true man. He has experienced time just as we, the living, are still doing and so 2000 years ago he could say "I am" and mean that he is a living body and soul.

With Jesus "there is always something greater here" and so his "I am" in human time is always the WORD,  IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT, that is revealed by human language in the totality of Scripture.

It is God, himself who speaks in today's Gospel. 

"Before Abraham was I am."

 Within the words of scripture we find WORD, the Truth/Love of God and we all have the freedom to make the right choices and to access the guidance that was revealed and completed in Jerusalem by the inexpressible humility of the acceptance of death by our all-powerful and all-loving Saviour, Jesus Christ, Son of God and Son of Mary.

The Annunciation

Today we especially remember that Mary and Joseph were the first humans to learn by message of an angel that IAMIAM was initiating in this world the completion of the revelation of himself as IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT.

Everything that I am and know in this world has to take second place to the event in real-time assented to by the Virgin, a teenager and confirmed by her artisan husband in Galilee.

The completion of the Law is proclaimed by the historical events of the next 33 years when Infinite Power, Wisdom and Love experiences for himself the bodily life of the summit of his mammalian creation that he first ensouled as image and likeness, as Adam and Eve.

It is useless for me to add to the billions of words that already try to do justice to the immensity of this Saving Event that resets our relationship with Our Father. 

Each generation since those days has had "to go out and teach all nations" but before we can do that we have to try to become like Mary and Joseph and accept the message of WORD in scripture and learn how to live out " Be it done unto me according to thy word". 

We must never forget that by his conception Jesus created a Holy Family and that to enable us to do the will of Our Father in this world he created at his death the New Holy Family, his Church of Love which is our guarantee that there can be Faith, Hope and Love in this world as we strive after the righteousness that was his gift to us in Mary, Theotokos.

Tuesday Lent Week 5

In today's reading from St John we are presented with John's recollection of how the leaders of Temple Religion responded to the mysterious yet simple words of the Jesus of Nazareth who was stirring  their complacency within the Law.

Those of us who read the Gospel passage to be read at today's mass are likely to be able to paraphrase and relate it in our understanding to the completed life of Jesus for we have been raised in a Christian culture that has had two thousand years to consolidate the teachings of Christ in our liturgies and private devotions.

In Jerusalem 2000 years ago 

                                  "I am going away, and you will seek me,

                                    and you will die in your sin.

                                    Where I am going, you cannot come".

was spoken for the first time by an uneducated "layman" who had appeared out of Galilee and caused disturbances in the towns and their synagogues of Israel because of his words and more dramatically, his  signs, "the blind see, the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear; the dead rise and the poor have the Good News preached to them."

Jesus did not seek to confuse his listeners. His words are always TRUTH and meant to enlighten those who saw and heard him during his lifetime and to be preserved so that all subsequent generations would be able to access the "Teshuvah" that is the essence of the reset of revelations that is the  Incarnate WORD.

The Pharisees began murmuring their responses among themselves and some forecast that Jesus was going to die by his own hand. They cannot agree and are forced to open a direct interrogation.

Who are you?

In his conclusion to Jesus' comprehensive reply, John tells us that 

  "As he was saying these things, many believed in him."

They did this even before understanding what he could possibly mean by;

‘When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he,

I have known for all my conscious life that Jesus is crucified that I may be loosed from my sins and in the depths of my being I know that I have really failed to live up to the mystery of redemption with which I try to guide my life.

For some reason the Jews of Temple Religion had not fulfilled the will of IAMFTHERSONHOLYSPIRIT but some have never lost the WORD that is in the Psalms which were  part of Jesus' daily prayer, part of the Way, Truth and Life that he taught and confirmed by the Resurrection that was proclaimed after the Saving Agony on Calvary. 

Today all mankind needs to unite in seeking the "Teshuva" that is pleaded for in today's Psalm "Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come to you." and can be truly found in the Church of Love, the New Holy Family, Maranatha, Come Lord Jesus Come !

The events that occur in the New Testament are all historical. They have all been witnessed by either the compilers themselves or by their sources. 

The Gospel of St John has within it themes/concepts that are the result of  his "pondering in his heart" during the forty or so years after he had witnessed them, the events that had culminated on Calvary and concluded with the "Return" of the Incarnate Son to his Father.

I have written the above because the story of Susanna from the Old Testament, today's first reading, is more akin to the parables of Jesus than it is to the historical reality of the New Testament. 

Both stories in the first and second readings are about accusations of adultery.

In the Old Testament "parable" the accusation is false but the heavenly inspired wisdom of the Righteous Man, Daniel exposes the lie. 

In the Historical event witnessed by John the accusation is true but the Incarnate Son again bears witness to the seemingly impossible levels of moral responsibility we have to aspire to do the will of the Father during our lifetimes.

Not only do we have "to turn the other cheek" when attacked but only the personally sinless can accuse others of sin. "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone".

Knowing that our first duty is to avoid personal sin, however, does not mean that we should ignore the denunciation of the sin that dominates our world. The Incarnation/Crucifixion/Resurrection has happened by the will of God and has reset our relationship with IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT. 

We cannot understand why Jesus chooses to become the Saving Victim because as mere humans we cannot appreciate how the ever Greater Power of God can be damaged by the infinitely weaker image and likeness that we are and needs the INCARNATION to experience human death to make sufficient atonement for all the sins that each one of us commits.

The physical agony of the Crucifixion reveals the immensity it is not to follow the will of God.

The first Christians were persecuted by their fellow Jews and then by the Roman Empire, but since those first years Christianity has been marred by the hatred of the specific race which had been the worldly vehicle which revealed the resetting of the will of IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT.

"Father forgive them for they know not what they do" should have been enough to prevent any of the anti-Jewish atrocities that have occurred throughout European History.

I am not a Jew, but my Faith is totally Jewish for the first revelations were made to the Israelites. The flesh of Jesus is Jewish but he taught us that "those who do the will of My Father are my brothers and sisters" and he did not leave us alone to do that.

Not only have we never put "My kingdom is not of this world into practice" but we have never even tried to truly accept that all men are brothers. Many of us still proclaim "Lord, Lord!" but ignore the complete revelations made by IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT when he walked through the Holy Land which has been so much defaced throughout History.

We are all born with the potential to become as was St John, i.e. the beloved, and we have not been left alone in the wilderness that is "This world" to find our own way to righteousness. Yet again a click of the mouse reveals (BBC 23/03/2026) yet another anti-Semitic incident in London. 

How can there be such unthinking hatred of Jesus, Mary and John, three Jews who are the nucleus of the New Holy Family, the Church of Love within which we can all find the peace that only comes from God? How can Zionists even think for a moment that they do not have to accept the "Law" which was first revealed to their forefathers and completed by their divine compatriot, Jesus of Nazareth.

Dear Lord please return to save our children from the lying world which we are in the process of bequeathing to them. Maranatha, Lord Jesus Come!

Lent Sunday 5

We are coming to the end of Lent and in the readings designated for the mass this Sunday we are given a summary of the meaning of God's revelation that has been preserved by the Church founded on Peter.

Everything that has been taught by the Prophets and finalised by the Resurrection is about the unseen force that is the Spiritual Life of Love in whose image and likeness we all exist in this world.

God's WORD was first recognised and recorded by Old Testament prophets who are the first "voices crying in the wilderness". Today Ezekiel is able to proclaim:

 And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves,

and raise you from your graves, O my people.

 And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land.

The Psalm, "de Profundis" is the total pain of the lifeless loneliness it is for our souls to be cut off from Our Father. 

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord;

 Lord, hear my voice!

St Paul explains all that he has learned since his experience of the Resurrection and preaches the WORD of the Lord for all generations to hear, ponder and accept the grace that it brings. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you:

He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead

will also give life to your mortal bodies

through his Spirit who dwells in you.

In the Gospel,  St John gives us not only an eye-witness account of the events that preceded Jesus' triumphal return to Jerusalem but also his observations about the significance they had for his God and friend Jesus.

The Church after Christ's resurrection contained within it an, at first, deep division between Jew .and Gentile. In St John's Gospel the word "The Jews" is used about the enemies of Christ. In fact he uses it to refer to the Temple Authorities who had claimed for themselves privileges to judge others and had themselves been condemned as "whited-sepulchres" but forgiven with the encompassing "Rehamin" that comes only from from God.

     "Father forgive them for they know not what they do".

Today the peace of the world is again being shattered by war that, as always, results from millions of people not seeking to do only the will of God. Millions of us are filled with selfish hatred for our brothers and sisters. Jesus has revealed that each one of us has to know that the wonders of creation will pass away, that he does not have an agenda for Kingship in this world but that we all should know that we can align our beings with something that is far greater than any Empire, Kingdom or anything created by man.

We really do have souls and he has created for them a home in this world in which we can find security now and in the future the perfection that is the timeless moment we see Eternal Love. Jesus lived, died and was reborn to show us the Way, Truth and Life and everything he said or did was to warn us that this world and our present consciousness of it are not the reason Our Father, IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT, created each individual image and likeness out of nothing but as a response to the spontaneous Love that is not Supernatural but the very NATURE of God.

Friday Lent Week 4

Today the first reading is taken from the Book of Wisdom which is definitely part of the "this worldly human  philosophy" that  had been developing for more than a thousand years at various centres throughout Asia, Europe and Africa when it was written in Alexandria, but is also inspired by God.

Jesus is not the founder of a philosophic tradition. He is always "something more".

He is the Son of God who out of Love for his creation empties himself to share in our material being and demonstrate in real-time how all human beings should live knowing that we are only temporary inhabitants of this world who have to live here according to the will of the Father.

Before I read the Mass readings for today, I had checked out the news of this world on my TV. It is so easy to be overwhelmed by the things of this world and to denounce the evil spouted and done by so many of our contemporaries.

I have only recently taken into my being "My kingdom is not of this world" and truly understood that that is the only foundation on which we are able to build lives which truly reflect the Love with which we have been created and redeemed.

Jesus never fights back. He accepts all that evil men can do to him. He reproves Peter's violence in the Garden but he knows that his message will not bring peace to this world for it is we who are responsible for everything that we are involved in during our lifetimes. We all of us have to know, love and serve not to make this world a better place, that is a foreseeable but as yet unrealised consequence, but to complete our primary purpose in this life, i.e. doing the will of Our Father so that we can be welcomed into Eternity.

" Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven"

I don't suppose that many of those who have known me at various times of my life over the 85 years that I have been alive would think of me as a "man of faith". My recent prayers and personal "sermons" with which I begin my day and am still saving in "Blogger" tell the true story of how I try and have always tried to live in this world knowing that I, a sinner, am always known and still loved by our God.

The scriptures that we read in this morning's mass are about a total faith without any quibbles. Even though God speaks directly to David he is always aware that he is a sinner who cannot live without the mercy that comes from God.

St Paul has been immersed in Scripture all his life but has seen the Resurrection and taken into his being the revelation that it is not outward observances but inward intention directed by Faith that is the correct response we have to make when we open ourselves to God.

Abraham did not know "The Law" but lived by Faith and proved it on Mount Sinai.

Joseph is a name. It is the name of the husband of Mary. The only thing that we know about him is that he was the first after Mary to have the Incarnation revealed to him.

There was never any necessity to have him become "St Joseph the Worker" (God does not see us as billionaires or paupers), as we have to thank God for the wonder of this human being who had the perfect Faith to accept the "message of an Angel" and to quietly accept the role he had been assigned in the reset and completion of revelation that took place in Palestine two thousand years ago.

Joseph was the head of the original Holy Family which lived in obscurity for we do not know exactly how many years as he had died before the "Wedding Feast at Cannae". 

The New Holy Family, our Church of Love also lives in obscurity, and consists of Jesus, Mary and John and all of those souls who can with the same Faith in God displayed by Abraham, David, Mary, Joseph and Paul in today's readings  accept the invitation to be guarded and guided in this World by the Eternal Love that we have been created to share.

When we concentrate on Scripture we are opening our hearts and minds to the presence of God that is constantly with us.

 "Jesus answered the Jews,

‘My Father is working even now, and I am working.’"

John was coming to the end of his long life when he prepared his recollections of  "Life with Christ". After the Resurrection his recollections had become consolidated by his experiences and understanding into what has become "Theology" and he knew that Jesus was undoubtedly WORD, that was the BEGINNING and the END and ONE with IAMIAM of the scriptures with which he was familiar since childhood. Father, Son and Holy Spirit are not parts  but each and together ONE IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT, one God.

John has not left us with any memoir about his post-resurrection life with Mary. There had been doctrinal differences of opinion even in the Apostolic Age but the Church founded on Peter, as such was not concerning itself with "the things of this world" and was still the loose association of friends united in the belief that Jesus had not completed his mission and would soon return, that it had been in the Upper Room and Portico of Solomon.

As I opened myself to the first two readings this morning I was filled with a sense of the grace that God has bestowed on his creation and particularly on the Jews. At the same time, I was aware of the horrors of Auschwitz and Gaza and of the historical failures of Christendom. All human beings have attempted to control themselves within political structures that are all man-made and we are still failing even as I type this

Even after the sublimity of the Incarnation, our World is still not the Holy Place that we have to strive to make it to be. I cannot forget that Jesus did tell us that he would be with us until the end of time and that I have personally been blessed by the Mercy of God. 

Throughout the centuries that have passed since the Resurrection there have been many of us who have truly abandoned the things of this world in their efforts to live life as did Jesus and the Apostolic Church. They have been supported in this world by Sacraments and Church Structures, but the one sure source of holiness in this world is the spiritual commitment we make in our hearts to cancel our self-will and do only the will of "Our Father who art in Heaven". Our individual sins all contribute to the Evil which dominates our World today and for the defeat of which Our Lord allowed himself to become the Final Sacrifice by the merits of which we can all become "Children of God".

Jesus John and Mary are the Spiritual New Holy Family in which we can find safety from the  temptation that entanglement with the things of this world brings to us all but only when we match our deeds to the words with which we pray

Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, 

Now and at the hour off our death. Amen

In these my "last times" on Earth I have become more and more aware that I am a created being and that I have to work hard to scrape off the accumulations of human culture that I have acquired because of the circumstances of my place and time of birth. There is not one of us who has chosen his own mother and father. 

Today is St Patrick's Day and is a dearly loved occasion for celebration for people of Irish descent. When I think of the Ireland from which my great-grand parents brought the religion and genes which I have inherited, I am appalled by the wickedness which has been perpetrated throughout history, and my own lifetime, supposedly in defence of that religion and genes.

I am still trying to find my way back to the soul that is known only by God. All the prophets of Israel knew that it was from God that they had their being and it was for God that they lived their lives. 

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,

and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations

Our Father still speaks to us all with the same clarity as He revealed to the prophets, The Incarnation is the WAY, TRUTH AND LIFE that IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT offers to us to enable us to become the pure being he knew to be GOOD at the moment of our creation.

In today's Gospel Jesus tells that if we are to do the will of His Father, we have to embrace nothing in this world, we have to welcome poverty, we have to throw off the lies that our cultures tell us about ourselves, we have to examine everything that we say and do and with his help discard all that does not add to the Greater Glory of God.

Even the most sublime of symphonies, spectacular Cathedrals, beautiful gardens  are the "things of this world" in which Jesus told us we cannot find his kingdom. To do the will of God on Earth as it is done in Heaven we have to follow our Lord by completely fragmenting the carapace of culture and sin within which we hide from Truth which is WORD we can find in scripture and in the unseen security of Grace in the Church of Love the NEW HOLY FAMILY.

Monday Lent Week 4.

As I am sitting here in front of this screen waiting for the words with which I will lift my mind and heart to God in these times, I know that Our Father knows that I, a sinner, am sincerely hoping to respond to not only the words of Scripture, but also to the unseen presence of His Love.

At this same moment I am also aware that he also knows all the other millions of sinners who are also souls alive at this moment and whom he knows with His perfect Love that must also be tinged with the sorrow that our failures reveal to Him. There is no way for me to think about IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT for I am enclosed within "time" which does not exist for him. That is why there are so many "alsos" when we try to "know" God.

This morning Jesus is ever so slightly annoyed "unless you see signs and wonders, you will not believe". The official, who is so worried about his child that the rebuke does not register with him, urgently repeats his request "Sir come down before my child dies".

Our world at this moment is full of millions of parents who are desperately seeking the same relief from pain and suffering. Millions of us are responding to the needs of our bodies to the extent of sinfully disobeying the commandments of our God. Some have made Mammon their God and feel absolutely justified in anything they do to increase or protect their wealth

The hills and valleys where the Incarnation lived out his human life are again being devasted by the human pride that chooses to do what it wishes rather than to obey the revelations that were sealed by Jesus' sacrifice on Calvary. 

That hill is again witnessing humanity's self-destruction, the result of the sinful conflicts that always occur as the snowball effect of the evil we create by failing, even in the smallest way, to do "thy will on Earth as it is in Heaven" grows into that monstrously humanly created evil we cannot ignore, War.

The world is, at this moment (GMT 08:59 16/03/2026), is filled with the arrogance of self deceit. The spiritual image and likeness with which we all have been blessed has been concealed by our own avaricious arrogance and even now as many of us search within ourselves to find again Our Father, for we cannot continue to avoid the inner-voice of conscience, we find only the self-image that we most admire which still refuses to beat its breast, saying “God, be merciful to me, a sinner".

IAMFTHERSONHOLYSPIRIT has given us the world in which to live in holiness by doing his will. Once the Institutional Church founded on St Peter became entangled in the things of this world, wealth and political power, she began the failure that increasingly revealed itself in worldly power struggles and faithless clergy.

Jesus, however, promised to be with us until the "end of time" which he would personally declare to us when he returned. I know that I cannot be the only person alive who remembers "Maranatha" and sincerely join my prayers with theirs in the security that the Church of Love, the New Holy Family provides when we remember the words uttered by the Lord as his Precious Blood drained from his Body in His Agony that was far greater even than that  we are now perpetrating on each other in his Homeland.

Today in the first reading David is anointed to become King of Israel. In the Gospel Jesus "anoints" the eyes of the "Man Born Blind" with a paste made from his spittle mixed with dust.

David the Psalmist praises the Lord as the "Good Shepherd" and has utter confidence that  no evil will befall him as he follows, even through the valley of the shadow of death.

Jesus questions the man to whom he has given sight. 

Jesus heard that they had cast him out,

and having found him he said,

‘Do you believe in the Son of Man?’

 He answered,

‘And who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?’

 Jesus said to him,

‘You have seen him, and it is he who is speaking to you.’

 He said, ‘Lord, I believe’,

and he worshipped him

The religious authorities who at the end of the three years that Jesus had walked, taught and revealed his power by the miracles he performed were hyper-watchful and were not ready to miss an opportunity to attack either Jesus the man or his teaching. Religious Jews even today love the Sabbath during which they share in the joyful "rest" that IAMIAM took at the end of creation.

All outward signs in this world of any Religious belief, are open to accusations of hypocrisy. God knows how hard I try to avoid recording here, where I open my soul, anything that I do not not truly believe.

So, I also take to heart Jesus' final words to the Pharisees, although they are somewhat enigmatic, in that "guilt remains" even though we have been shown in scripture and can see the whole purpose of  creation within the protection of both "The Church of Peter" and the "New Holy Family" how to accept this teaching of St Paul.

But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible,

 for anything that becomes visible is light.

Therefore it says,

‘Awake, O sleeper,

and arise from the dead,

and Christ will shine on you.’

Friday Week 3 of Lent

In today's Gospel Reading St. Mark records an interaction between Jesus and one of the learned and clever, a scribe. I always try to remember that Jesus, himself, only ever had love for all the people he encountered during his time on Earth.

In the first reading, IAMIAM too is displaying love for the sinners who have displeased him. It is the nature of Our Father to only love us even when we are sinners and to add to that love when we repent of our sins and in holiness recognise and return to him in our personal, human love.

The Scribe who "tests" Jesus has a well-thought out belief in what the Scrolls of the Old Testament reveal. He also seems to have an honest heart and is happy to receive Jesus' answer to his question. We too can be happy in this world when we truly listen to the WORD which we can find in the Old Testament but is Jesus, Son of God and Son of Mary, the INCARNATION i.e. "made flesh and dwells amongst us" in the events and teachings of the New.

My generation and myself, are still imprisoned by the entanglements that human beings have created over the centuries during which we have never truly responded to the final revelation that is the Great Reset of Revelation made 2000 years ago in Jerusalem.

On Easter Sunday we will celebrate the bursting forth from the fear of the unknown that is the unconfined joy of the Resurrection. All the teachings of Old and New Testaments lead us to this witness to the Power and Glory of Our God, IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT. I know that I cannot relax in my preparations and pray that Our Father for whom nothing is impossible can break through the carapace of human pride that blocks his Love from entering into the hearts, minds and souls of the millions of us who have misused our human freedom to turn the clay of  humanity into self-worshipping idols.

In the first reading for this morning, God is addressing and summarising the "state of the Covenant" that he has made with his "Chosen People". He is doing this by inspiring the man Jeremiah to cooperate with the Word and thus become a Prophet, not by foretelling the future, but by revealing the Truth that is concealed within the events and quagmire of human awareness that formed the Jewish Nation before and during the Babylonian captivity.

In the Gospel, God is also speaking to the Jewish People, but now he, himself, is preparing his listeners to come to the understanding that with Jesus there is always "something greater here". The four Gospels are the record of how God prepared not only the Jews but the whole world to be ready to accept the complete reset of His relationship with mankind that he sealed with the real-time event that began on the first Good Friday and completed with the unseen Resurrection.

Each one of us is aware of our own limitations. We know that there are millions of people with far better human qualities than we have but our Creator only wants us to live by choosing to become the righteous in the being that is our soul, His unique "image and likeness" which he created and loved from the moment of our conception.

Jesus has made the final revelation that shows us the right path to follow to be sure of doing "thy will on Earth as it is in Heaven", even though we have to fight our way out of the entanglements of Providence. We all have had individual covenants presented to us by IAMFTHERSONHOLYSPIRIT and when we escape from the clutches of the "Father of Lies, this "Lying World" and our own "Mammon"  he speaks directly to us not only as he declares "Thou art Peter and on this Rock I will build my church" but also to each individual soul in his dying words from the cross when he invites us all into his New Holy Family, His Church of Love.

The Jews at the time of the Annunciation had lived in the Holy Land since the time of Moses, more than one thousand years previously. 

Jesus, who has never not existed, became man to enable us to choose to fulfill in the material time of this world the will of Our Creator, now revealed as IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT.

Our Father has always known each created soul as a human father knows all of his children and has created us with the intention that we should, each one of us, return his love for us all by using our own being to know, love and serve.

The human categories into which we place ourselves serve only to create false goals which we then falsely attribute to the providential will of God and in concentrating on them lose sight of our primary goal, i.e. to nurture our Souls.  St Paul warns us about this in his first letter to the Corinthians but subsequent generations have never listened, just as we have never truly listened to "My kingdom is not of this world".

Our God does not know us as anything other than the naked helpless baby born of our mothers. That baby that we all were had been ensouled at the moment of conception by our earthly fathers as image and likeness spiritually free to choose as we grew into maturity the Way, Truth, Life that he revealed by human words and deeds to his Disciples.

There are no nations in Heaven. There are no Capitalists. There are no Socialists. There are no Religions where God is All in All. Here on earth Christians have prayed "Thy will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven" but rarely practised it just as the Jews before us did not live up to the Conventual faith that God bestowed on them.

Jesus rose from the dead to confirm to each individual soul that it will live on after the death and corruption of our bodies. He has taught us and proved with certainty that we live in this world as a preparation for a  timeless state of being which we can  choose to be the single perfection of seeing God or the never ending pain of knowing that we have refused this joy.

In today's Gospel Jesus confirms that IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT has in no way modified "The Law" and that it is Jesus' mission to restate and enable us to complete it.  The Son of God and Son of Mary lived an extraordinary human life, extraordinary because it was perfectly human even to the extent of his acceptance of death, so that he could generate Sacramental being in this world, to be preserved and accessed by the Church he founded on St Peter.

Each day as the totally unjust war continues in Persia and I still try to open my being to WORD in the mass-readings. I become more and more aware that we have not truly grown in faith and are as much in need of a saviour as were the Jews in first century Palestine Although I still hear Jesus' words to Mary and John my heart calls out "Maranatha" for it is only he who can right all the wrongs that are being performed in this world, at this moment. The New Holy Family is our only true sanctuary.

Even in my worst moments of sinfulness, I have never considered abandoning my belief in IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT and always asked for the forgiveness that I have never earned but always receive as a free gift.  

I know that I and every person who has ever lived has been created with sufficient ability to be able to choose to respond positively to the revelations made by WORD throughout history. To do that I have to exit from all that my self-regard demands for itself and truly accept the will of Our Father who always responds whenever we seek support against temptation and protection against evil.

Old and New Testament  revealed religion is about how to live in the  material world being consciously subject to  the will of God. Sometimes in the Old Testament it seems that IAMIAM  accepts the actual burnt animal sacrifices that can only be a symbolic act, showing the donor's recognition that HEISGOD and the donor is subject to HIS power. Sometimes IAMIAM supports the Jews in their wars against their neighbours and positively encourages the elimination of the people who first occupied the Holy Land.

At the Annunciation, Jesus is the "begotten not made" Incarnation and the moment when IAMIAM expands the revelation of his spiritual Being and Love, into IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT. Jesus is a Jew and teaches directly to the Chosen People, but after the Resurrection we have had to come to terms with the "My kingdom is not of this world" not only openly declared at his trial but also revealed by his teaching throughout his public ministry.

Our God knows each one of us and tells us that he supports us in our individuality by his gifts of  both the Church of Peter and the Church of Spiritual Love, His New Holy Family, when we knowingly choose to follow all that he has completely revealed and sealed by the only sacrifice, acceptable to him in its worthiness, his own body and blood, crucified to save us from our sins, on Calvary.

Dear Lord, we are again proving to be undeserving of your care as we continue to slaughter each other in the Holy Land where you lived 2000 years ago. Forgive me for my own personal sins and teach us all how to do only your will on Earth as it is done in Heaven. Amen

Monday Week 3 of Lent

In today's Gospel we are presented  with Jesus' first formal discourse. This event had been preceded by the temptations that he had resisted during his fast in the wilderness,

In the Incarnation God has chosen to reset the relationship between HIS uncreated Eternal Freedom and and our created in time human freedom . IAMFATHERSONANDHOLYSPIRIT has no need to do this except to reveal to us that we are very special beings who live in a material creation which is limited by scientific laws that we can discover and utilize in "freedom" but in which we are "something greater" than the material which we know with our senses but which we can analyse with our sentient being, intelligence and soul.

We are "image and likeness" and so greatly cherished by "Our Father" that "Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us". Jesus is "True Man". Sinlessness places this man into a category above human understanding in which we can also find only his, Mother. the Immaculate Conception.

The congregation in the Synagogue knew the Man, Jesus, as the son of Joseph, the carpenter. They had heard rumours of miracles but they were nowhere ready for his public self-proclamation using the words  that announced  the Jubilee, the year of God's favour. Of course such blasphemy should be silenced and Conventual  Righteousness prevailed as they tried to throw him off their cliff. But "His time had not yet come", there was much more that he had to teach us, by word and deed, before his mission of Love in our natural world, was concluded  on Calvary.

Third Sunday of Lent

We all know that our bodies are a part of the material Universe which we know by our senses. We also know that just as with Jesus, "there is something greater here", within us. We cannot see, hear, touch or taste this greater something but our Creator teaches us through the WORD of scripture that our invisible being, our soul,  is "image and likeness" of his own. 

He has created for us a "freedom" that is limited in its power to control the material universe but completely capable of opening itself to the guidance of the Love with which he creates everything we can know and "sees that it is good." Every each one of us is fully known and recognised by Our Father to whom we are as spiritually connected as we were to our mothers, but although this spiritual cord is never cut we are completely free to accept or refuse the grace it never ceases to offer to us.

St Paul emphasises that the agony that Jesus freely accepted was to save the completely unworthy sinners that we are from the punishment that we justly deserve. God knows that I am silenced by the effort to respond to the immensity of what he reveals to us in the Scriptures and saddened by my sinful failures.

It was outside of Israel, at The Shrine of Pan that Jesus first expressed his intention to build a "Church" for the Whole World and in today's Gospel it is here in Samaria that he first directly claims to be the Messiah and confirms to the Samaritan woman, by revealing her life-story that IAMFTHERSONHOLYSPIRIT knows and cares for each of our individual souls.

In the real-time of today, the things of this world are still in turmoil although I am only aware of this via reports. I am also aware that such events have happened throughout history but in "these days", the time of the  living, we are aware that mankind has become capable of initiating the complete end of this world without divine intervention.

The Church which met in the Portico of Solomon was inspired by their resurrection-faith to be sure that they "would see the Lord in the land of the living". We are still certain that Jesus will return but have learnt to be patient without extinguishing Faith and Hope for we are sustained by our Church of Love, the New Holy Family founded in his dying words by Jesus the Messiah.

Time always passes. While we are alive we all of us know that we cannot "stop the clock". So it was for the Apostles and disciples of Our Lord. They were the "first fruits" Resurrection Generations. They were the generation who first endeavoured to live in this world as Jesus had himself lived.

He had owned nothing except the essential clothing that we all need to protect us from the elements. He did not have "a place to rest his head" but slept wherever he happened to be, even in the boat as he crossed the Sea of Galilee.

When he despatched his first Missionaries they were to take nothing with them but had to accept whatever was first offered by the people to whom they preached. There has been much speculation about the ownership of the "upper" room but we really have no certain knowledge about that other than the "randomness" reported only in John's Gospel.

Yesterday we read about how the fear of losing their expected inheritance prompted Joseph's brothers into their plot against him. Today the welcome given to the prodigal son provokes the resentful fury of his brother just as had God's seeming rejection of his offering had provoked Cain's murderous reaction.

The clearing of the money-changers from the Temple is often cited as an example of righteous anger and as a foundation for the Christian conception of a "Just War". All the ancient civilizations of mankind have also tried to justify war but we are not "ancient civilizations" we have been taught that the Incarnation is the total reset of God's relationship with mankind. We have been taught to turn the other cheek, to never fight back even against the most barbaric of invaders. As I type these words I know that my brothers and sisters are continuing to kill each other in Persia, and I can only pray for God to treat all the victims of each other's violence with mercy.

Those very first Christians, Apostles and Disciples who had known Jesus were totally convinced that he would return to their world just as he had done after Calvary. They pooled their resources and lived communally as recorded in the Acts. Their faith in the Parousia in their lifetime, however, did not survive the destruction of the Temple and they began again to amass the wealth of this world.

We now have two millennia of Christian history to look back on and we must face up to the fact that our world is still at odds with the will of Our Father. Was it only for the first few months in Solomon's Portico that there was a truly Holy Mother Church on this earth, an Institution that really did reject the things of this world and teach each of us to welcome the agony of a personal crucifixion?

Although there has always been corrupt prelates within the Church there have also always been examples of sincere holiness. There were many true martyrs during the first centuries and millions of silent saints. 

Jesus' "My kingdom is not of this world" tells us that the living faith  he will build on St Peter is not composed of the manmade edifices which grace all the cities that were once Christendom nor of the Imperial Bureaucracy-inspired "Roman Decretals" which have become doctrine and canon Law, but is  the Natural Love of IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT with which he founds, His Church of Love, the New Holy Family, our source of all that he promises can be ours, in the scriptures.

We have to take all that Jesus reveals about IAMFATHERHOLYSPIRIT into our beings and contemplate his words to the extent that they become his presence in our hearts. If we can do this we will become the true Resurrection Generation and thus able to welcome the  return he promised so long ago.

Forgive us our trespasses, Maranatha, Lord, Maranatha.

The story of Joseph and his brothers has been repeated in real-time throughout the ages in many different cultures. It is very easy to feel resentment against siblings who, although younger, are perceived to have obtained a greater share of parental affection. Jesus' parable of the Prodigal Son is another example the same story.

It is never easy for me to accept the literal truth that Our Father really did choose to reveal himself to only one nation, but in today's Parable of the Vineyard, Jesus confirms this to be true. I have thus often found myself in the same resentful frame of mind as were the older brothers of Joseph when thinking about the Old Testament.

Jesus in the great reset of salvation history that is the Incarnation, makes it clear that his message of universal love has to be broadcast to the whole world and that we are all able to access the forgiveness from all sins that his body crucified on calvary bleeds out throughout time and space.

There is nothing that we receive that is to become our personal possession. We have to display our faith and hope in the charity that we have for each other. No-one is to be excluded. The great and the good of this world are as loved by IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT as are the least and the lowly. 

Presidents, Emperors, Kings, Popes, Ayatollahs, Rabbis, the rich, the powerful, the poor, atheists, humanists, Christians, Jews, Moslems all seem to have different stakes in this life but at the moment of our death we will all know nothing except that it is only Jesus who has the words of eternal life.

Let us thank God that he has shown us the Way, the Truth and the Life and created the security of His New Holy Family, His Church of Love to be not only our home in this world, but also the atrium to the  Eternal Life of the next.

Thursday Week 2 Lent 2026

As I begin to read the mass-readings of the day I am often aware that they have already become a familiar part of my being, my "amness".

The image of a well watered tree flourishing on a riverbank has always made me smile, and in the last half of my life, I have also been able to see this in the reality of my own garden. 

The WORD is the very essence of Old and New Testament. In the Old, IAMIAM, speaks through the prophets who are men inspired to proclaim what has always been, from the beginning of time, Good News, the Gospel, God loves us. 

All the prophets have been overcome by the Lord and persevere in their individual covenants to guide their neighbours into the state of "isness" that lives in total awe of God. Jeremiah shouts out that IAMIAM is the source and completion of his being, his heart is bursting with the joy of knowing God.

With Jesus, "there is always something greater here" and he is thus able to add to his parable of human life a warning that is for my generation being fulfilled in the negative even as I now read and listen to His words as recorded in Matthew's Gospel, and as it has always been since he became the Resurrection. We have never accepted the Truth as preached by Prophets nor even as reality in his own Life, death and Resurrection.

God has revealed himself to be not an abstraction, not a notion, not an idea, but the ever greater three-personned IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT who has always fulfilled his part of his promise to Abraham only to be rejected by his own beloved "image and likeness" in both Testaments.

Today, a click of my mouse opens up scenes of destruction brought about by mankind. Nothing that I can see on this screen is happening by the will of God. Mankind has often proclaimed "Holy Wars" and today there are many who are still doing that.

How can we hope for the Return when we who have been saved and know the Resurrection are no better at doing his will than were his crucifying  contemporaries? 

Lord, have mercy. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy

"Not one iota will pass from the Law until all is completed"

I suppose that anyone who has ever worked in "this world" can relate to the "indignation" felt by the Apostles at the "machinations" of the mother of James and John, to gain a worldly advantage for her own sons.

The total reset of how we are to live in this is world is taught by word and example throughout the Gospels. There is not one of the Apostles, however, who really understood what was being unfolded before them each day that they spent with Jesus. 

They were captivated by what they were witnessing "Go and relate to John what you have heard and seen: the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are made clean, the deaf hear, the dead rise again, to the poor the gospel is preached:" but were not able to escape from their Old Testament conditioned culture which expected a "Messiah" to vindicate the covenant by restoring "kingdom" to the political Israel that was then controlled by Rome.

They were all expecting that Jesus would become able to repay them in the real-time which they were sharing with him while learning "the way and the truth". 

Even Peter, James and John who had been blessed by the Transfiguration were not able to anticipate the literal meaning of "See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death" and of its details "and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day".

I pray each day that I can follow with the first disciples the revelations of "the way and the truth" because I am one of those "blessed who has not seen", I am better prepared than they for the desolation of Calvary as I know that it  is the necessary prequel to the Resurrection when Way, and Truth become one with Life in the LOVE that is IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT'S gift of Himself to ensure our salvation within his Church of Love, His New Holy Family where we can all find even in this world the peace that comes from God. Amen

Sometimes when I have concluded my meditations I feel thrilled by my own thoughts which I did not know that I had until I saw them in black and white on this screen. At other times, I struggle and as I write recognise within myself  an adversary who is mocking and pointing out that no matter how much I try I am still very far from the holiness that I claim to seek.

Today before opening Universalis to read the mass-readings I looked at the current news about the war.

It is impossible for me to ignore that the same battles that were fought by the Jews in the Old Testament are still being fought, as they have been throughout my own lifetime, three thousand years later by the original "People of God".

One of the "Thoughts" of Pascal considered the continuing existence of the Jews as a race apart from the rest of mankind as a proof for the existence of God.

God knows that when I watched the news this morning, I saw the epitome of greed and stiff-necked arrogance displayed by two Jewish faces and knew that I had to counter the distaste that I felt for I am  Christian and know that the incarnate Son of God himself has that same physical characteristics.

Mary's Son, our Saviour was begotten by the Holy Spirit in the sinless womb of Theotokos, the Immaculate Conception to become the concluding event of God's revelation. The Chief Priests refuse to listen to Living Word and inveigle the Romans to execute the Son of God. By all accounts, a similar sort of behaviour is being repeated today in my own Generation.

The Jewish race was the first to receive the Blessing. Jesus atoned for their continuing refusal to live according to the Word and arose to reset IAMFATHERSON'S relationship with the whole world. At his trial Our Lord made it clear that it is not for the sake of the kingdoms, empires, democracies, national homes or anything political that he is becoming the Final Sacrifice. 

We have been shown the Way, Truth and Life and each individual being, Image and Likeness, is free to learn how to do the will of Our Father by knowing, loving and serving for we all are much more than our physical bodies. It is within our souls that we are all free to accept and return the love that he creates in his Church of Love, New Holy Family.

The inspiration of the Holy Spirit has never left us to be alone since the time when Adam/Eve brought sin into creation.

Today is no different than the many centuries that have passed since the real-times within which were written the mass-readings for today. They  are interpretations of  real-time history informed by both subsequent contemplation and events.

Today is no different for our world is again obviously submerged and engrossed by the evil that mankind brings into it and is not even trying to do the Will of God but engaged in a war that is the result of millennia of accumulated individual sin that feeds the pride of nations and their leaders.

Today is an ancient Jewish "high day and holiday" that is still celebrated after some two and a half millennia. We can be sure that Jesus celebrated this festival, first in his own Holy Family and then with his disciples. 

I am first struck by the huge irony of history that Purim which celebrates God's release of the Jews, the chosen people, from Persian oppression is being celebrated as the modern descendants of Hebrew and Persians are slaughtering each other at the exact moment I am tapping out these words.

The story of God's revelation of his purpose in creating humanity was completed on Calvary "It is finished" and proclaimed by the Apostles in reaction to the Glory of the Resurrection.

There has never been a generation since those times that has been devoted to doing God's will. There has never been a generation without war and the sin which is always its ultimate cause. Every century which should be "Years of Our Lord" has been marred with Crusades, Jihad and Pogroms.

Our Churches have failed even when fed by the continuing sacramental real presence of our Saviour. The Jews are as stiff-necked as ever. The Moslems are still denying the Incarnation and following their false prophet. All three are locked in yet another asinine and totally unholy struggle in the land that God gave to Abraham whom all three claim as their forefather.

All my life I have intermittently tried to find the Lord who promised to be "with us always even to the end of time" and have always realised that he has been ignored by most of us who have ever lived since those times. Our Churches have always become too  entangled with the things of this world to fulfill their mission that was built on Peter.

In these latter times of my life, however, I have begun to realise that IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT has never left us completely alone. He is the Word that we may find in uncontaminated Sacraments but surely can find in Scripture which leads us into the certainty that  is the Spiritual Church of Love, the New Holy Family .

                                            "Woman behold your son, Son behold your mother."

God blessed Abraham for the purpose of being a blessing for all time in the whole world. 

I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonours you I will curse,

and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’

His descendants became so enthralled in their own beings and ignored the universality of the "Blessing" they cherished, that God, who still loves mankind, the product of his own perfect freedom to love human freedom into being, reset his relationship with humanity.  Eternal Word became incarnate to share human life in order to give to the world another chance to become holy.

‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.’ 

At his trial before Pilate, Jesus declared, "My kingdom is not of this world". This does not mean that what we do in this world is of no concern to Our Father. It is in this world that we have our beings and are responsible to obey the will of IAMFATHERSONHOLYSPIRIT and thus to try to perfect the world into the holiness that was the purpose of Our Father.

I am a weak and powerless sinner who each day hopes that he is not hiding from the world when I pray the scriptural mass readings and type reactions to encourage myself and leave them open to be read on this blog by anyone.

God knows that I have mixed feelings about the attack on Iran when in order to have the honesty to God that should be my sole purpose in life I have to confess that I am not displeased to see buildings around the Gulf being destroyed . He knows that I am also deeply angered by the hypocrisy of the atheistic rulers of the secular kingdom which is my home pandering to Islam which owes its being only to the glorification of a false Prophet and denial of Christian Theology.

I also know that neither of these events would have resulted if  the individuals involved at every level had not made their personal choices to disobey the will of God at some point in time and completely ignored the Will of the Father as revealed in the Life, Death and Resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth who made it clear that the materiality of this Universe will come to an end and that we can ensure the survival of our own beings only  by knowing, loving and serving in this world where we can be confident that we are always welcomed into his Church of Spiritual Love, the New Holy Family that he founded during the agony of his death on Calvary.

                                            "Woman behold your son, Son behold your mother."

Dear Lord, help us all to come to the realisation that it has always been your purpose that we freely accept your guidance that we only truly do your will on earth by always "doing unto others what we would want to be done to ourselves". This was your blessing to Abraham repeated by the perfect  blessings and sealed by the Final Sacrifice of the Incarnation but more often ignored than followed by us.
